Il souhaite réaliser un bardage ajouré avec des découpes au laser...et m'a fourni le plan de ce bardage. J'importe le dwg dans 3dsmax, j'essaie d'extruder...et là, tout plante, le maillage obtenu devient trop lourd. La méthode fonctionne pour un échantillon, mais pas pour les façades entières. Comment vous y prendriez-vous? Le bardage doit avoir une certaine épaisseur...une map d'opacité ne me permet donc pas d'appliquer les trous dans le matériaux. Voici un exemple fourni par l'architecte, qui illustre le résultat qu'il veut obtenir... Des avis, des idées? Ils seraient les bienvenus. Les délais ne m'ont malheureusement pas permis d'approfondir la question...la maille de base était très complexe, et aucune des méthodes de modélisation proposée n'a fonctionné. J'ai finalement dû me résoudre à utiliser une map d'opacité...le résultat est satisfaisant, mais le bardage n'a aucune épaisseur (ce qui n'a posé aucun problème au client). Voici le résultat final...
