Use embree render probléme

Bonjour!

Voila le 3éme soucis sur lequel je bloque de 3dsmax.

Voila je cherche a faire des rendus  vray d'un plan archi mais lorsque je lance ce rendu, arrive a l'étape de calcul de l'embree, mon pc freeze (plus aucunes interactions possible, la souris ne bouge même plus.).

Lors du : Using Embree raytracing pour être précis.

J'ai compris qu'il y a un problème de capacité de ram par rapport a la scène seulement je bosse sur un truc pas très lourd.

J'ai checké l'état de sante de la ram qui est parfaite.

Ma scène  fait 680mo....

Rien à voir (quoique...) mais pourquoi BF+BF et pas BF+LC ? Egalement, pourquoi dans Global switches ton DefaultLight est sur Full et pas sur Adaptive? Avec la modification de ces deux réglages tu vas diviser tes temps de rendu.

On peut reprocher beaucoup de choses à Vray mais pas d'avoir essayé de simplifier son utilisation et son  parametrage. Très franchement, aujourd'hui en conservant les paramètres par défaut (les deux que je viens de citer le sont....par défaut), tu obtiens de très bons résultats avec des temps de calcul honorables (suivant ta machine, bien sur). Cela n'empeche pas de peaufiner mais le point de départ, doit rester simple....On peut sans problème se reposer sur les paramètres par défaut. D'autant, que cela évite les soucis....

Jai loadé  un preset de base dans le render settup et ca se passe mieux. Je n'ai plus les pb de l'embree.

Le rendu sans le forest pack se passe nickel. J'ai  le adaptative default light et je suis en brute force+ lightcache.

Seulement max crash tout simplement quand je fais un rendu avec les forest packs visibles et en plus j'ai des temps de calculs de lightcache incroyablement long, de lordre de parfois 150 heures ( a un moment plus rien ne répond, l'ordi se fige....).

Je passe du coup en GI : brut force+ brut force

Nous en avons maintes fois parlé ici. Il y a une logique à respecter. Problèmes de rendu --->Override Material + BF. C'est le point de départ afin d'analyser et de cibler le problème.

Un light cache de 150 heures est clairement anormal. Idem pour FP.

Quels sont tes réglages de LC?

j'entame la recherche du problème.

PRESET A: J'ai override avec un vray material avec un Gi en bruteforce la scène sans forest pack et tout est ok, le rendu fonctionne bien.

PRESET B: Même protocole avec les forest packs visibles  et pas le reste de la scène excepte le dome light.

Par sécurité je fais deux fois le même rendus par preset quelques secondes d'intervalles après que le premier soit terminés.

Dans les fait , je fais un rendu du preset A après qu'il soit termine je relance le même rendu.

PRESET A: Rendu01 tout est ok/ Rendu 02 tout est ok

PRESET B: Rendu 01 tout est ok/ Rendu 02 crash après ce message d'erreur.

Il faut donc continuer ta recherche et trouver quel objet FP pose problème en effectuant un rendu en masquant a chaque fois un objet FP.

Tu peux également tenter de partir d'une scène vierge, fusionner tes FP et voir ce que cela donne. Partager ta scène (uneiquement avec tes objets qui posent souci), aussi.

Effectivement c'est assez souvent un objet ou une map d'un mtl qui pose souci.
De souvenir, tu peux surveiller le rendu et voir où sont placés les buckets sur l'image au moment où ça plante, ainsi tu peux déjà cibler quels objets se trouvent à cet endroit.
J'ai eu ce souci avec des objets type vêtements de VizPeople récemment, mais à part supprimer l'objet en question (une paire de chaussure dans ce cas), pas eu le temps d'essayer de comprendre pour ça plantait.

Le truc c'est que lors du premier rendu jen ia pas de soucies mais c'est le second qui crash toujours avec le Unhandled Exception... Je ne comprend vraiment pas pourquoi le premier fonctionne mais pas le second.
