"Detail enhancement"

Bonjour à tous !

 

Je me suis souvent demandé à quoi servait l'option "detail enhancement" dans les settings !

 

J'ai lu que cela servait à "améliorer" certains détails au rendu en rendant "plus finement" certains zones ...

 

Pouvez-vous m'éclairer à ce sujet ?
